I grew up in the real estate industry…literally : ). My family has owned a real estate company since I was at the age where my main objectives in the office was to find a chair to spin in and string paper clips together; necklace or bracelet anyone? I would also spend this time flipping through endless home magazine booklets until my fingers were covered in ink as I imagined what home I might choose. I spent "Take your Child to Work" day there, I did my homework there and I spent hours upon hours listening and gleaning to my father's business wisdom.
My Dad was and still is a visionary. I noticed his passion for business at a very young age and more than that, he had a passion and love for people. In an industry that can sometimes choose the work over the individual my father stood out as his heart was to serve. His passion was contagious and as an adult I carry that fire inside of me; a drive to be a servant and a leader. It is a privilege to walk client's through stressful situations and help propel them to fulfill their dreams or to make new dreams as they journey into the unknown. I believe that our vocations and ventures in life are but tools we get to use to serve our friends, family and communities, offering our gifts and dreams to encourage those around us to reach theirs.
Throughout the years of my growing up and throughout college, I worked for our family business. I have attended countless listing appointments, home viewings and real estate excursions. There is just something about the quest and search for your new home. It's your season to move into a new place in life and take a step closer in fulfilling your dreams. It is a joy to watch this taking place in people's lives.
During this time, I also had the opportunity to work as a loan processor for a mortgage company and learn about the home buying process from that standpoint which was a wonderful learning experience.
After I graduated from college, my family and I started a new real estate company called 'twist real estate' which is where I work today as a industry broker.
Twist was built on a foundation to support new beginnings and fresh starts. Its acronym stands for Truth, Wisdom, Innovation, Servant-Leadership and Thankfulness. It is on these principles I set out to serve you!
